A Call for Artists
In a world defined by constant stimulation,
where do we encounter stillness?
WovenSmart invites artists to submit work for The Space Between — a contemporary exhibition exploring the tension between overwhelm and clarity, fragmentation and focus, exhaustion and renewal.
This exhibition seeks work that reflects the emotional, psychological, and sensory realities of modern life while examining the quiet moments, thresholds, pauses, and patterns that help us reconnect with ourselves and one another.
What We Explore
We are interested in artwork that explores
- Distraction and attention
- Identity and disconnection
- Stillness and overstimulation
- Mental clutter and spaciousness
- Burnout and restoration
- Ritual, mindfulness, and presence
- Transition, liminality, and becoming
- The seen and unseen emotional landscape of contemporary life
Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly through atmosphere, texture, storytelling, symbolism, materiality, or immersive experience.

Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.
Curatorial Vision

The Space Between is intended to feel contemplative, immersive, and emotionally resonant.
Rather than simply showcasing objects, this exhibition aims to create an environment that invites reflection, awareness, and deeper presence. We are especially interested in work that evokes atmosphere, emotional tension, sensory contrast, or psychological depth.
This exhibition reflects the broader philosophy of WovenSmart — exploring creativity not as decoration, but as a tool for awareness, connection, healing, and transformation.

This exhibition may include artist talks, sound experiences, mindfulness gatherings, and creative conversations designed to deepen reflection and connection.

Minimal or quiet work is welcome. Bold or emotionally intense work is welcome.
